What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

This project file has designs which I think of as something different every time I flick past any of the designs. They are certainly eye catching!

I wonder if the designs would be as eye catching in pretty colours… something which would be interesting to play with sometime!

My favourite is the first one.

I have a friend who would love this because of the colours are worn by her favourite team. I love it because it is an interesting collection of pieced and applique designs.

Same blocks, different arrangement, and I still like it. Lots of room for quilting in the background areas.

I sort of like it, but a bit too modern for me.

Second design is also interesting with the mirrored potted plant, and the pair of birds. I like the first one best though.

Stunning combination of fabrics.

I cannot see me ever making a black, white and red quilt, but if I ever feel the need, or have a recipient in mind, I have the designs to choose from.

I might have to start a new project file with this collection of fabrics one day.

(I have so many things I want to do one day that I need about a year of days to do a fraction of them!)
